    Doodles Launches An Airdrop For Its NFT Holders

    The meme coin season continues heating up, with more non-fungible tokens and crypto projects launching meme coins nearly daily. Doodles, the team behind the popular blue-chip non-fungible token collection Doodles, is the latest to join the meme coin craze.

    Doodles Joins The Memecoin Mania – Launches An Airdrop

    In a March 30 blog post, Poopie, the co-founder of Doodles, confirmed launching an airdrop for collectors holding Doodles non-fungible token collections. Doodles joins a rapidly growing number of crypto and NFT projects that have entered the meme coin bandwagon and launched their tokens.

    Launched in October 2021, Doodles is an NFT collection of 10,000 generative NFTs hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network. The Doodles ecosystem also consists of other character types such as human-like, pickles, flames, flowers and ice creams.

    The non-fungible token project was incubated by Evan ‘Tulip’ Keast, Jordan ‘Poopie’ Castro and Scott ‘Burnt Toast’ Martin, a Canadian–based illustrator, designer, animator, and muralist whose reputation led him to work on projects for Google, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and more.

    Doodles features original art from Martin, who produced hundreds of unique visual traits for the collection, including mascots, aliens, cats, skellys, and apes. The NFT collection creators were inspired by the then-top NFT collections such as CryptoPunks, Bored Apes, and Cool Cats.

    Doodles Launches Its New Utility Tokens ‘$poop’

    Doodles has launched a new utility token, which will be used in the new airdrop event. These $poop tokens will be airdropped to holders of doodles, genboxes, dooplicators holders of custom 1/1 doodles, doodlebank participants and voters, genesis box burners and doodle minters.

    In the meantime, Doodle’s floor price has sharply increased following the bullish announcement. The NFT floor price has jumped from 1.73 ETH to around 1.85 ETH in just five minutes after Poopie, the co-founder of Doodles, broke the news. At the time of writing, Dooldles has a floor price of 1.84 ETH.
