Hotel and casino operators on the Las Vegas Strip are always competing to sign the biggest names in entertainment for their stays.
Theater operators, such as Caesars Entertainment (Czechoslovakia) MGM Resorts International (mgm) Or Wayne Resorts (where) They will sign contracts with artists for a few shows and up to hundreds of shows for the most popular acts.

Some major artists have become permanent fixtures at some casinos and hotels. For example, 1970s singer Barry Manilow has the longest-running residency at the International Theatre at the Westgate Las Vegas off The Strip, breaking the industry record.
In September 2023, Manilow broke Elvis Presley’s record of 636 sold-out shows at the International Theatre at the Westgate Las Vegas off The Strip, which was known as the International Hotel in 1969 when Presley performed there.
The “I Write the Songs” singer will continue performing concerts into next year. He has signed a contract extension with Westgate for an additional 48 shows from February 13 to December 13, 2025.
Teenage 1970s star Donny Osmond began his residency at Harrah’s Las Vegas Showroom in August 2021 and continues on Harrah’s Strip through November 16, 2024.
Mr. Las Vegas Wayne Newton, who had his first major Las Vegas gig in 1963, continues to perform at Flamingo’s Bugsy’s Cabaret Showroom through December 30, 2024.

Lady Gaga performed her sold-out concert “Enigma + Jazz & Piano” at the Park Theater, the predecessor to Dolby Live, at Park MGM from December 28, 2018 through May 1, 2022. Back to Dolby Live With her “Jazz + Piano” residency in August 2023 ending on July 6, she told the audience that she plans to return with another residency.
Superstar Adele has also reached the 100-show milestone. The “Hello” singer opened her Weekends With Adele residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November 2022 and has been playing to the public since she took the stage. Adele’s 100-show residency will end on November 23, unless she extends it again.

When Resorts World opened on the Strip in December 2021, it marked the start of country star Carrie Underwood’s “Reflection” residency, which runs October 16, 18, 19, 23, 25, 26, March 26, 28, 29, and April 2 and 5.
Finally, Las Vegas Strip superstar Janet Jackson has scheduled her all-new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas starting December 30-31 and continuing on January 3-4, and February 5-7-8, 12-14-15.
Ticket sales for the 10-show concert at Resorts World’s 5,000-seat theater begin on August 28 at 10 a.m. PT at axs.com. Artist pre-sales begin on August 26 at 10 a.m. PT, while AEG, AXS, Resorts World and Spotify pre-sales begin on August 27 at 10 a.m. PT.
The “Nasty” singer’s last Las Vegas residency was her “Metamorphosis” show at MGM Resorts International. (mgm) Park MGM from May 17 to August 17, 2019.
Jackson will be performing her “Together Again” tour in Europe, starting on September 25 in Paris and ending in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 13 before beginning her residency in Las Vegas.
