The fundraiser is being organized by the Blockchain Foundation. Cliff Messidor, executive director of the Blockchain Foundation, hopes the event will facilitate conversations about how Harris could support the crypto industry if she wins the White House.

Meanwhile, Coinbase and Ripple, which are locked in legal battles with the Securities and Exchange Commission, have paid $120 million to super PACs this year as part of efforts to influence the election. Harris Meets with Cryptocurrency Executives
