Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas expects Ethereum ETFs to launch on July 2.
In a post on X, Balchunas noted that the SEC sent comments on the S-1 registration statements. The analyst noted that the SEC’s comments are “not significant” and that she expects responses within one week.
“We are moving up our plus or minus launch date for the Spot Ether ETF to July 2,” Balchunas said. “Staff sent out exporter comments on S-1s today…good chance they’ll work on getting it declared effective next week and getting it off their plate before the weekend.”
Update: We are moving up our plus/minus date for the launch of the Ether spot ETF to July 2nd, as we heard staff sent issuer feedback on the S-1s today, which is very light, nothing major, and ask them to come back a week. Good chance they’ll announce its effectiveness the next day… https://t.co/XJZ8JLwEFF
