Devcon 7 is scheduled to be held in 2024While the final location remains undetermined, we can say one thing for sure: DEFCON Coming to Southeast Asia! 🌏
We can’t wait to begin our Devcon 7 journey in Southeast Asia and are excited to see the Ethereum communities in Southeast Asia becoming more active since we announced Devcon 7. It’s great to see communities from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam engaged.
Today, we launch Road to Devcon (RTD) grant round. To support the emergence of new Ethereum events, grassroots communities, and educational initiatives across the diverse region.
If you are based in Southeast Asia, enjoy growing communities, developing educational activities, and empowering your region with the opportunities that Ethereum provides, we encourage you to apply for support along the way to Devcon. The maximum grant awarded is $1,000, and we encourage you to apply through smaller meetups rather than large events.
Communities build the road 🏗
The road to Devcon is not just a metaphorical path, but a series of links and stations that bring people together and connect Ethereum to communities in specific regions of the world. During the last RTD, The road to Bogotá It was paved by the inspiring efforts of the Latin American community that came together to organize various events throughout the region. These efforts have culminated ETH LATAMa one-day conference in the local language, and Shiva buscolorful stage in Defcon VI.
Along the way, we’ve discovered new leaders and north stars of the community – each contributing to the growth and resilience of the Ethereum ecosystem. These individuals are the ones who enrich the Ethereum community with their energy and culture.
We believe Path to Devcon Scholarships The initiative can increase access and opportunities for people to learn, participate and contribute to the Ethereum ecosystem. Through RTD grants, we aim to create the conditions that allow the Ethereum community to flourish and expand throughout the Southeast Asia region.
