if DEFCON1 This proved it all in a big way, it was definitely the enthusiasm, creativity and momentum of the Ethereum developer community. Using the unprecedented potential unleashed by the Ethereum World Computer, our small but growing community is not. Just Reimagining money (or even… Just (Reimagining the Internet)… It is also reimagining and offering alternative models for reorganizing the fabric of our society around a more transparent and inspectable “stack.”
ÐΞVgrants came into existence On April 7, 2015, in order to alleviate some of the normal burdens of developing lower-level tools that will hopefully enhance the above scenario. At DEVCON1, I gave a very short talk summarizing the projects funded to this point, as well as making a special announcement regarding continued funding.
Donate Omisi
The good news is that ÐΞVgrants isn’t over yet, because we now have $100,000 in additional funds to work with during the new year, thanks to a generous donation from It has been deleted.
“We are honored by the opportunity to support the decentralization revolution, starting with our contribution that will reboot the Ethereum ÐΞVgrants software.” – Jun Hasegawa, CEO of Omise
We hope that this donation will encourage potential funders to come forward and support ÐΞVgrants and related endeavors, as much as it may encourage potential applicants. We thank Jun and Omise for their kind gesture in this regard.
