First tickets to Devcon VI: Learn about the Devcon auction and raffle
Ticket distribution is always a challenge when demand exceeds supply, and we’ve spent time thinking of new ways to give more opportunities to those looking to attend Devcon VI.
This year we will hold Auction and pre-sale raffle for the first Devcon VI ticketsWith amazing help Trophie Development team.
In years past, waves of Devcon tickets, scheduled over different days and times, were intended to target a more diverse demographic rather than one simple sale. However, there are advantages for those who are in the appropriate time zones, or even who are geographically located close to our physical ticket servers. In general, our goal is to distribute tickets in as many ways as possible, without requiring most attendees to wait and to refresh the website at a certain time (whenever possible).
How will the auction work?
The auction and raffle will be conducted on Arbitrum, a second-layer accumulator that resides on the Ethereum mainnet. We advise Deposit funds to Arbitrum Early if you want to participate, and ETH will be the only payment method accepted.
The ticket auction will look similar to a traditional auction: participants can submit their bids and the top 20 bidders will each receive a ticket to Devcon VI, for the amount of their bid. The minimum bid required to participate in the auction is 0.25 ETH (a significant discount below the general admission ticket price).
Best of all, the proceeds will be donated to public benefits! And everyone who participates in Auction and raffle He will receive a POAP NFT to indicate participation.

NB: Smart contract wallets like Argent & Gnosis Safe will not be auction and withdrawal compatible this year. We plan to modify the contracts in future iterations to allow us to accept smart contract wallets.
How will the withdrawal be made?
Any participant who does not submit the top 20 bids will have another chance to win one of 80 tickets to Devcon VI at the reserve price (0.25 ETH) through a raffle!
Everyone who wins the draw will be able to withdraw any additional ETH above the reserve price. If you don’t win also During a raffle or auction, you may withdraw the full bid amount, minus a 2% Sybil resistance fee.
