The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has finally approved the sale of spot Ether Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) in the United States. The SEC has combined proposals from the Nasdaq, NYSE, and CBOE exchanges, which requested changes to existing rules to allow the trading of Ethereum Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) and ETFs.

This highly anticipated crypto achievement has fueled a short-market rally in various digital assets, especially those closely associated with the Ethereum blockchain network. Ether, the native crypto asset for the Ethereum network, saw its price jump from $3,751 to $3,923 in just few hours. Data compiled by CryptoSlam.io, an on-chain crypto market aggregator and a multi-chain non-fungible token market explorer, indicates that the Ethereum NFT market has also soared sharply after the United States Securities and Exchange Commission approved the usage of Ethereum Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) and ETFs.
In the past 24 hours, non-fungible token collections hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network have amassed a trading sales volume of $6.8 million, representing a 27.25 % rise from the previous day.
