Romare is a writer and translator who has been a crypto enthusiast for the past four years. Her goal as a writer is to create useful, comprehensive, and easy-to-understand articles that are accessible to those entering the crypto space. After learning about cryptocurrencies in 2019, Romare became curious about the world of possibilities the industry offered, and she quickly learned that financial freedom was within her reach with cutting-edge technology.
From a young age, Robmar was interested in how languages worked, and found a particular interest in wordplay and the peculiarities of dialects. Her curiosity grew as she became an avid reader in her teenage years. She explored freedom and new words through her favorite books, which shaped her worldview. Roopmar gained the skills necessary for in-depth research and analytical thinking at university, where she studied literature and linguistics. Her studies have given her an acute perspective on many topics and allowed her to turn over every stone in her investigations.
In 2019, she first got involved in the cryptocurrency industry when a friend introduced her to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but it wasn’t until 2020 that she began to dive deeper into the industry. When Robmar began to understand the mechanics of the cryptocurrency space, she saw a new world that had yet to be explored.
At the beginning of her journey in the world of cryptocurrencies, she discovered a new system that allowed her to take control of her finances. As a young adult in the 21st century, Romar faced the challenges of the traditional banking system and the limitations of paper money.
After her home country’s economy failed, the limitations of traditional finance became apparent. The outdated bureaucratic structure left her feeling hopeless and helpless amidst an aggressive and distorted system created by hyperinflation. However, learning about decentralization and self-governance opened up a world of opportunities. Cryptocurrencies allowed her to experience financial control for the first time and expand her financial education.
Furthermore, the strange nature of the crypto community sparked Romar’s curiosity about other layers of the industry. As a result, I found a particular interest in exploring the diverse perspectives of investors, market watchers, experts and developers. Her attempts to understand the crypto space better made her realize the strong connections between the community and other industries, which enriched her perspective on the sector. As someone who spends most of her day online, Romar enjoys finding the points where the world of crypto meets her other passions and hobbies — or her favorite memes.
In her spare time, she often finds joy in various forms of art. As a child, she participated in all the extracurricular activities in her hometown, including music lessons, dance, jewelry making, and a local choir. Despite her many attempts to learn different instruments, Robmar only knows how to play the xylophone, which she played in her school’s band for 7 years.
She also has a passion for learning new languages and cultures, having set a goal of learning six more – and is currently trying to learn Italian and Korean. Scrapbooking, papermaking and bookbinding are her biggest interests outside of work, and she regularly takes classes and attends workshops to learn new techniques. The rest of her free time is spent focusing on football matches, transfer news or feeding cats – her own or strays.
