Hello, Gota I’m writing back – I initially introduced myself when we started the rewards program earlier this year and I’m happy to give you an update on what’s happening on the security side leading up to and during the launch.
We’ve had some high-quality entries from bounty hunters – applauding the creative feats submitted through the bugs that made them possible. The number of submissions has increased recently. Hence we have decided and announced that we will continue the bounty program at least throughout the frontier phase of the Ethereum launch plan – see gave And Vinay Relevant blog posts.
Please go to our website Bonus site For more information about the bounty program and be sure to check out our Bullet Hunters repository here For useful test scripts before starting your research.
We don’t just rely on individual bug hunters and the community: along with EthDev Gustav SimonsonThe process of selecting professional security experts, academics, and blockchain experts for our external security audits began late last year. Gustav is now working with auditors and the Ethereum Go development team to track all flagged security issues here And work on repairs for them. We want to track all issues well and close them only after they are fully resolved and the solutions have been sufficiently tested. Every bug we find is being addressed and will be fixed before Frontier is released. Feel free to follow us on GitHub if you want to monitor the progress.
The first round of security auditors will finish in two weeks, and bug fixing is well underway. It will take time to work through all the issues. It’s a safety-driven process, not a schedule-driven one, after all.
