The Protocol Support Team is organizing a grant round to support the next phase Ethereum KZG ceremony.
The KZG ceremony is a coordinated public ritual that will provide a cryptographic foundation for Ethereum scaling initiatives such as EIP-4844. Learn more about the concert and participate in the beta on gala.ethereum.org. If you want your financial support to contribute on a deeper level, there are two ways to qualify:
- Write your own implementation
- Introducing entropy resulting from unconventional sources or through a unique process

Write your own implementation
The best way to avoid a mistake that affects the entire party is to use as many different apps as possible. This eliminates the possibility of single points of failure due to errors in software execution, and reduces other associated risks. To this end, we are interested in financing various implementations, especially those characterized by:
- Customized/bespoke BLS applications
- Auditable code
- User-friendly interfaces
- Generate good randomness
- Unique languages ββand assemblies
- Implementations are ready for use early in the contribution phase (which starts in early January and lasts for approximately two months)
This party has been specifically designed to be as easy as possible to contribute to, and we encourage everyone to check it out Specifications.
Our suggested funding requests for basic >> fully featured apps range from $500-$10K.
Unique ways to contribute
Another way to help ensure that the final output of the celebration is unbiased is to collect entropy (randomness) and ensure it is destroyed in a creative way. We welcome proposals that:
- Collect unique forms of entropy
- He contributes this entropy to the party
- Entropy then destroys
- Document the above in a reliable/verifiable manner (e.g., video proof, blog post with photos, detailed written records)
Submit the proposal
Anyone who believes they can achieve some of the points above is encouraged to apply for this grant round, as an individual or with a team.
Grants will be awarded on a case-by-case basis and on a rolling basis. You can enter more than one proposal as long as each proposal is unique and meets the requirements.
