The private contribution period for the KZG Concert ran from 01 to 16 April 2023. This allowed participants to contribute in ways that may not have been possible in the open contribution period. While the ceremony only needs a single honest participant to provide a secure output, private contributions provide additional guarantees beyond the standard entropy contribution:
- Computing on entropy in an isolated environment (e.g., on an isolated device, physically wiping and destroying devices) means that a malicious entity is unlikely to extract entropy at any time.
- Detailed documentation (explore links below) associated with real reputation is unlikely to have been exploited or falsified by a malicious coordinated entity. The records are available for future observers to explore.
- Various hardware and software limit the associated risks
- Differentiated entropy generation (e.g., burst measurement) prevents party outputs from being compromised by some failure of regular entropy generation (e.g., hosted interface)
- Contributions involving large groups of people are harder to fake than contributions involving just one person. This allowed participants to contribute in ways that may not have been possible in the open contribution period. For example, the need for a longer time than a typical slot or a unique way to generate entropy that involves a larger array.

12 – KZGamer – Summon Dankshard with Dice Tower
Justin Florentine has built a dice tower that can collect the entropy of a party and help determine the outcomes of his board games. The dice tower was an enclosed box that rolled the dice before collecting them in an enclosed room where they were filmed by a Raspberry Pi (and camera). Computer vision was then used to read the dice which were used to determine the success/failure/damage of a given roll while adding the dice values to the internal entropy pool. The trapdoor is then opened to return the dice to the player. By the end of the game, 1024 bits of entropy had been collected and the SD card used in the Pi was burned to destruction.

13 – Katropia
Proof of the cat Or Catropy is a project to collect entropy from cats playing with a ball. This was done by including a custom PCB with a file ESP-32 microcontroller And MPU-6500 6-axis IMU In a knitted ball and hand it to the cat (or human). The ESP-32 will then collect data from accelerometers and gyroscopes, hash it into an entropy pool and serve this entropy over WiFi to a server that performs PoT calculations.
