TORONTO (Reuters) – Royal Bank of Canada has appointed Jessica Rausch as chief operating officer of its U.S. global asset management (GAM) business and Brandon Liu as head of the division’s new-look leadership since Donald Sania was named CEO.
The Toronto-based bank said the three executives will start their new roles on Aug. 1.
Rausch and Law replace Carol Kuha and Mike Lee, who will retire at the end of July.
Kenyan Sania joined the bank in 2014 and previously held senior positions at BlackRock (NYSE:).
RBC GAM Group manages approximately $453 billion in assets and has teams in eight cities in Asia, Europe and North America.
RBC and other Canadian banks are looking for growth opportunities outside their home market, entering areas including personal banking, capital markets and asset management.
