Maintaining elasticity can often lead to a better experience for a vacation, especially when you make a cruise with children.
Even if you are taking a magic family holiday with Disney’s cruise line, filling your cruise schedule with many activities can lead to eccentric children and strained parents.

It is always good to plan for some time and give up multiple options for how to enjoy your time based on everyone’s mood. This can include keeping your options open in meals as well.
But when it comes to dinner on a tourist ship in Disney, your family dining options are somewhat limited, and this is something that many loyal Disney deals want to change the cruise line.
A number of passengers explained this in a recent discussion in the DCL community on Reddit. Many families sailing with Disney Cruise Line love the rotational dining system, where passengers alternate to a different restaurant to eat every night, but it is not for everyone. Some say that dinner is very long.

They want Cruise Disney passengers more options for dinner
Dinner in major dining restaurants usually take 1.5 hours or more, and some passengers want to enjoy a faster dinner on certain nights. Besides the room service, a pizza is available next to the pool and fast pride, but many passengers are looking for something more than the sitting perspective.
“Not everyone wants to spend 1.5 hours at dinner, but also does not want to serve the pizza/room too,” Downsouth003 explained in Reddit discussion.
Passengers want to have a dinner option at Cruise Line, Cabanas and Marceline Market, where breakfast and lunch are served. The cruise line provided an unofficial dinner service in Cabanas in the past, but it is not currently providing a family dinner option to sit outside the main eating restaurants.

“My biggest complaint is the lack of dining options at dinner,” indicated by Snowday2025. “With young children/young children, sometimes you don’t want trouble to eat a long meal in the dining room, but we want something other than serving the rooms. We must be fast to reach the surface of the blessing surface before we close if we decide that we do not want to go to the dining room.”
The fact that most fast food stations on the surface of the pool near dinner time are also a problem for travelers.
“If they do not return the option to sit in a buffet, please at least keep all the billiards open until 10 pm-and not only the pizza,” GreatbigbeauutmMM.
They want the Cruise Disney passengers as well
The discussion also revealed that loyal passengers would like to see dinner lists for the main refreshing food restaurant from time to time to provide some new dishes for their experience.
“I was on 7 naval trips. On 3 ships. I was tired of eating the same things. They really need to do something with the menus,” JROBERTSON50 wrote. “They need more tastes; they are booked very quickly.”

“Change the menus. Most of the menus were the same since the ship sailed for the first time without a simple change,” Jimfish98 pointed out. “There are preferences, but there is a lot of space to make some changes so that not every cruise is repeated.”
Another passenger suggested that there be a simple thing like having a small section of the list with special shows that improve the experience of cruises.
“This is the biggest for me,” Doctor_juris agreed. “I know that changing the menus is a huge logistical problem, and some people will complain if their old favorites are not available. But they need to do something to mix it. It may add 1-2” seasonal “elements every night in which they revolve.”
