Stocks are coming off a mixed session with the S&P 500 rebounding from a shaky start to the week thanks to a jump in Nvidia shares. Wall Street is looking at earnings from Micron and how Chipotle’s prices fare after its 50-for-1 stock split takes effect.
Investors are also looking forward to Friday’s headline inflation report – the Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index. The Federal Reserve pays maximum attention to this measure when it makes its decision on interest rates.
In other news, two popular minivans have been recalled.
Ford is recalling more than 500,000 pickup trucks due to a transmission problem that could cause the truck to automatically downshift into first gear, increasing the risk of an accident. This recall affects some 2014 F-150 trucks. The F-150 is the best-selling truck in the U.S.

Meanwhile, Tesla is recalling more than 11,000 Cybertrucks due to a problem with a windshield wiper and a piece of plastic that could fly out of the trunk. This marks the fourth recall of the Cybertruck since its launch in November, with the last recall being in April.
Recalls are not very rare for both Ford and Tesla. So far this year, the two companies have recalled a total of 6 million cars.
This will do it for your daily briefing. From the NYSE, I’m Conway Gittens from TheStreet.
